The Sound of a Digital Image with Magdalena Zoledz
On the audio-based platform Clubhouse, we will hear from artist Magdalena Zoledz about the secret lives of digital images and what they sound like. The Internet appears to be an infinite stream of images and other visual content, but if we were to focus on a single image and contemplate how it came to be, might we understand the world differently? Consequently, to what extent do post-production software affect our understanding of the world?

About the Artist
Magdalena Zoledz is an artist and PhD student mainly researching the concept of post-photography. She works with text, photography, experimental video and objects. In her practice she experiments with the idea of the evolution of digital images, often referring to posthumanism. She likes to use science fiction writing to discover new ways of thinking about digital images. Between 2018-2019 she was a visiting research PhD student at Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. She is a member of 280 Artists Association and co-founder of ONE Project London. She lives and works in London.
